Grilled seafood prepared before your eyes in the central show kitchen. Teppanyaki served in a lake-side pavilion, with a panoramic view that showcases Silhouette island greens and translucent blue. An idyllic evening unfolds on the beach, with a cool island cocktail, sparkling champagne or subtle wine.
Tucked away among the verdant slopes of Silhouette Mountains is a restored plantation home, Grann Kaz, which houses a café that serves traditional Creole cuisine. Once an old Seychellois plantation house, Grann Kaz exudes an atmosphere that best captures the spirit and heritage of Seychelles.
Grann Kaz :
This Seychellois plantation house is the restored home of the Dauban family, previous owners of the island. Built in 1860 by Auguste Dauban, the structure now houses Labriz's Creole specialty restaurant, Grann Kaz. The house itself is built in local takamaka wood and has been kept exactly as it was 140 years ago.
The Grann Kaz experience fuses modern Seychellois spirit with the island's French and English heritage. Once a week, Grann Kaz opens its doors for a traditional 'Soiree Creole' with live band and dancers.
